Okay, let’s just start with this: I could not wait to finally dive into Hayden and Darcy’s story. I’ve been rooting for these two from the moment Hayden’s hopelessly-in-love vibes started radiating off the pages in the earlier books. The pining, the little moments, the way he looked at her—it’s been so obvious he’s totally head over heels for her, and honestly? I was HERE FOR IT.

Now let’s talk about Hayden. This man is a walking, talking bundle of adorable. Like, can we take a moment to appreciate how he turned into the ultimate jealous boyfriend when Volkov had the audacity to ask Darcy out? The way he couldn’t hide his feelings, the tension in that scene—it was absolutely perfection. I practically clutched my chest, muttering, “Hayden, you’re killing me.” And as if that wasn’t enough, let’s not forget his flower game. Darcy offhandedly mentions she loves flowers, and this man doesn’t just take note—he turns it into his mission. One bouquet? Nope. Hayden’s out here sending her flowers again and again, just because he knows it makes her happy. If that’s not swoon-worthy, I don’t know what is.

But THEN. Oh my god. GEORGIA AND VOLKOV. MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE?! WHAT?! I had to pause—actually, physically put the book down—and just… process. Who saw that coming? Not me. The layers, the drama, the sheer jaw-drop factor of it all—it was the kind of twist that makes you want to grab a megaphone and scream “PLOT TWIST!” from the rooftops.

And just when I thought this book couldn’t get better, Darcy flips the script. I absolutely LIVED for the moment she got jealous. Watching her get all protective and territorial over Hayden was pure gold. Her “he’s mine” energy had me grinning from ear to ear. It was so satisfying to see her emotions laid bare, especially when Hayden’s been wearing his heart on his sleeve for so long. And speaking of Hayden, can we talk about how he wouldn’t let up with the teasing about the proposal? It was spot-on for his character, and their back-and-forth banter during those moments was everything I wanted and more.

And then came the moment that truly melted my heart—the part where they were ready to give up their careers for each other. It wasn’t even just romantic; it was profound. That level of love and selflessness? It hit me right in the feels. My heart was so full, it felt like it was going to burst.

Finally, let’s talk about the cherry on top: the bonus scene. Oh my gosh, it was perfection. Those moments were so beautifully written, and then we got the added gift of seeing the first two chapters from alternate POVs? It’s like the author said, “You deserve dessert and seconds.” Seeing their thoughts and feelings in those pivotal moments gave the story even more depth. I’m still not over it—it made an already amazing story even better.

In conclusion, The Wingman didn’t just deliver—it soared. It was romantic, heartwarming, and packed with all the drama and emotions I could ever hope for. Hayden and Darcy have my heart forever.
