Exploring the Intricate Web of Relationships: Unraveling the Grey's Anatomy Character Tree

I finished my exams...and I was bored, I had started rewatching Grey's Anatomy to make May even sadder than the fact my college life is now over and I will have to start adulting for real. Then I realised how I loved finding out how the characters are connected to each other.

A bit of a back story:

As I kid, I used to love knowing about the actors of a movie or a show and wanted to know everything and watch everything they starred in. As I grew up and started watching the shows from USA like Grey's, Gossip Girl, FRIENDS, etc. I loved knowing about them as well. But the plots always confused me. I used to make charts on sheets of paper to explain how the characters are connected with each other while introducing shows to my friends.

About the show:

Grey's Anatomy is an American medical drama television series focusing on the personal and professional lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, later named the Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The series premiered on March 27, 2005, on ABC as a mid-season replacement. The show's title is an allusion to Gray's Anatomy, a classic human anatomy textbook.

About the Characters:

Meredith Grey is the titular character of the show. The show starts of with five interns, Meredith, Cristina, George, Izzie and Alex. Other main characters and guest/recurring characters are Miranda Bailey, Richard Webber, Derek Shepherd, Preston Burke, Addison Montgomery, Mark Sloan, Ellis Grey, Thatcher Grey, Adele and many more.
