Behind the Camera: A Heartwarming Tale of Love in the Nanny x Single Dad Trope

Okay, Behind the Camera just smashed the Nanny x Single Dad trope, and I’m here for it. Dallas is a single dad to his adorable 4-year-old, June. Maven? She’s Shawn’s goddaughter and Aiden’s daughter, and somehow, this strict “no dating your employees” rule doesn’t stop these two. Maven gets hired as the Titans' photographer, but then—plot twist—Dallas hires her as his nanny.

They end up living together (cue the slow burn that’ll make you clutch your chest) and guess what? They fall for each other. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. There’s all the sweetness, all the tension, and all the moments that have you going AAAHHHH, especially when Dallas falls first and hard (hello, swoon). Oh, and did I mention he wears her comfort necklace? That’s how Shawn finds out they're a thing. Cue dramatic gasp.

While this one didn’t completely wreck me in the best way, it’s still totally adorable and packed with moments that’ll make you want to cry happy tears.
